WILLIAMSBURG – Guillaume and Marie (W&M) has organized what they call a “smooth opening” for its new Spirit Shop and Bookstore in 601 Prince George Street Monday, November 8, 2021.

The bookstore is operated by Barnes & Noble College (BNC) and features William & Mary branded products and a selection of trade books.

The new location will provide outdoor seating and free parking, while continuing to offer in-store events and programs. The new location allows the bookstore to be closer to the student body in addition to providing services to visitors to campus. Two goals that the bookstore had when it announced the return in March 2021.

The new store is also supported by a partnership between BNC and Fanatics. This new partnership is expected to help provide more clothing options via a new website that adds to the store’s inventory.

The official opening of the W&M bookstore is scheduled for December 8 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. opportunities with the Griffin, and students attending the opening are eligible to win textbook scholarships of up to $ 250 each.

Those looking for more information are encouraged to follow the store on their Facebook page.
